Housing Support

How We Work

Finding safe and stable accommodation can be one of the most challenging steps for women experiencing or leaving domestic abuse. Concerns about rent, deposits, temporary accommodation, financial pressures and the safety of children can make it difficult to know where to turn.
At Nu Me Foundation, we recognise that having a safe place to live is an important part of rebuilding stability and independence. We aim to help women navigate the support available by connecting them with appropriate housing services, specialist domestic abuse organisations and relevant local authorities.
Through trusted signposting, we want to help women explore options that may include emergency accommodation, refuge services, housing advice and longer-term housing support, depending on their individual circumstances and eligibility.
We understand that every situation is different. Our approach is to treat every enquiry with compassion, respect and sensitivity, helping women identify appropriate next steps without judgement.
Our aim is to help women find the right information, access relevant support and move towards a safer and more secure future.
Need immediate help? If you are in immediate danger, call 999. Nu Me Foundation is not an emergency accommodation provider or an emergency service.
